You can turn encrypted chat on in the channels or private message windows of your choice by typing /SECURE. Encrypted chat mode for a window can also be turned off using the same command. If you wish to send an encrypted message without going into encrypted chat mode, you can do so using the /CRYPT command as documented in the BoDeBoT Commands section. You can also set your passphrase on a per window basis by using the /PASSPHRASE command.
